Diffan Sina Norman is a Kuala Lumpur born Los Angeles based Malaysian Iranian multi-disciplinary artist, filmmaker and writer. His work in film, animation and design has been featured at Sundance, SXSW, Rotterdam, Raindance, Cartoon Network and The National Art Gallery of Malaysia. His short film "Kekasih", made possible with an awarding grant from FINAS, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival 2014 and was subsequently nominated Best Short Film at the 26th Malaysian Film Festival together with a Special Jury Mention from the Nashville Film Festival 2014. His first feature presently in development is a contemporary adaptation of a Malay novel based on a lost film.
